We operate the following terms and conditions with regards to the services we offer to the general public: - Following initial contact by a client, details of the work to be conducted ('confirmation of engagement') and an invoice for the fee will be sent by e-mail to the client. Reference to our full terms and conditions will also be made. The client is required to reply by e-mail within two (2) working days stating their acceptance of the terms and conditions, the date and time of the appointment(s), the work to be conducted and the fee. The work will not be confirmed or timetabled by FocusPsychology until this e-mail has been received from the client. If a reply from the client is received later than two working days from initial e-mail contact the appointment date and time may be subject to change.
- Payment of our fee for the work agreed is required in advance. If payment has not cleared in our bank account at least 2 working days in advance of the confirmed appointment date, the appointment will be cancelled and the client informed by e-mail. Payment can be made by cheque or postal order (made payable to 'FocusPsychology Ltd') quoting your invoice reference.
- In the event of a client not being able to make the agreed appointment the appointment will be rescheduled if requested or the client will be fully refunded if at least 2 working days notice prior to the confirmed appointment has been given. We regret that cancellations made less than 2 working days prior to the confirmed appointment are charged at 50% of the full fee. Missed appointments where no notice is given are non-refundable.
- By instructing FocusPsychology Ltd the client accepts that FocusPsychology follows a professional ethical code of conduct in its practice and as such the outcome or results of any psychological assessment, consultancy, therapy or training may not align with client assumptions or expectations. We therefore ask clients to consider very carefully the 'confirmation of engagement' details that will be sent to you before payment is made.
